Pattaya (Thai: พัทยา, RTGS: Phatthaya, pronounced [pʰát.tʰā.jāː] (About this soundlisten)) is a metropolis in Thailand. It’s miles on the east spin of the Gulf of Thailand, about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Bangkok, within, but no longer portion of, Bang Lamung District within the province of Chonburi. Pattaya Metropolis (Thai: เมืองพัทยา, RTGS: Mueang Phatthaya) is a self-governing municipal dwelling which covers Tambon’s Nong Prue and Na Klua and substances of Huai Yai and Nong Pla Lai. The metropolis is within the commercial Eastern Seaboard zone, alongside with Si Racha, Laem Chabang, and Chonburi. Pattaya is at the heart of the Pattaya-Chonburi Metropolitan Condominium—a conurbation in Chonburi Province—with a population of roughly 1,000,000.
